The Foundation for Addictions Nursing (FAN)
The Foundation for Addictions Nursing (FAN) supports the mission of IntNSA. The primary activities of FAN are to cultivate resources to advance the profession of addictions nursing, develop partnerships with individuals and organizations, and, together with the members of the organization, identify initiatives to advance the specialty.
In 2013 FAN invites applications for Lois Widley Scholarships to be awarded to 2 undergraduate nursing students and 2 graduate nursing students covering the cost of IntNSA conference registration and $500 stipend to help cover expenses of attending the IntNSA conference in Washington, DC, October 9-12. The deadline for submitting an application is June 1, 2013. Download form.
In 2013 FAN invites Intnsa members to apply for the Cathy Buffington Memorial Scholarship to help cover the cost of registration to the annual IntNSA Educational Conference and a $500 stipend to help cover expenses of attending the IntNSA conference in Washington, DC, October 9-12. In 2013 FAN invites research proposals for the competitive $2000 IntNSA Board of Directors Research Grant for the purpose of stimulating research that has direct or indirect impact on addictions nursing.. The deadline for submittng a research proposal is June 1, 2013. Download form.
Applications for all scholarships and grants must be in by June 1 and winners will be notified by July 1.
