Award CategoriesChapter of the YearNominees are IntNSA chapters that have demonstrated significant contributions to advancing the profession and mission of IntNSA within their region or country. Clinical Care AwardNominees must demonstrate deep knowledge and expertise in addictions nursing, along with creative contributions in the service of high quality patient care. Community Service / Advocacy AwardNominees provide outstanding service with a dedicated focus on addiction prevention, education, intervention, or community based advocacy. Education AwardNominees are exemplary educators who bring vital attention to addiction issues, inspiring knowledge development or research in addictions nursing through teaching. IntNSA Spirit AwardThis award honors an individual or organization that has made an outstanding contribution to the field of addictions. Note: Nominees do not need to be a member of IntNSA or a nurse. Visionaries, community advocates, and public figures in the addiction field are eligible. Management AwardNominees initiate the development, management, and implementation of innovative programs and services in the field of addictions. Mentoring AwardNominees provide extraordinary leadership and guidance to the next generation of addiction professionals. Note: Nominations for this award must be submitted directly by the mentee. Newcomer of the YearNominees are early-stage or newly joined members who, since the previous annual conference, have demonstrated exceptional motivation and service to IntNSA. Peer Assistance AwardNominees actively participate in the development, support, and implementation of prevention and/or intervention programs within peer assistance frameworks. Research AwardNominees introduce significant new theories, conduct exemplary research in addictions, and actively communicate their findings to advance the field.
