The International Journal of Addictions Nursing (IJAN) is the official journal of the International Nurses Society on Addictions (IntNSA). IJAN is a peer-reviewed, quarterly international journal publishing original articles for nurses with a professional interest in addiction. IJAN welcomes submissions from nurses and other healthcare professionals, regardless of specialty, with an interest in treatment, prevention, education and research of addictions, including drug and alcohol and behavioural addictions. The editors are also seeking high-impact papers which will be widely read and cited, ultimately with the potential to have an international impact on nurses working with addiction. Submitted papers should be relevant to the scope and aims of IJAN and written in a manner which makes the relevance of the content clear for international audiences.

Each issue of the Journal contains original articles, reviews and perspective papers relevant to nurses with a professional interest in addictions, including alcohol and other drugs, gambling, co-occurring disorders and comorbidities, and other behavioural addictions. Submissions are welcomed through the Editorial Manager system, and full issues of the Journal are available to IntNSA members as part of their membership.
